    Ryder Cup

Anyone else looking forward to it? I can't wait, and if it's anywhere near as good as 2012 then we're in for a three day television treat.

I've got a crate of Doom ready, and will be living on my settee for the duration.

    Come on Europe

Love the Ryder Cup - unfortunately, I'm out of the country on Friday, SMS on Saturday, 18 holes followed by lunch at a mates on Sunday.

Can see a lot of archived stuff in the Sky planner having to make way before it kicks off.

Pretty much the same although will be heading out for 18 holes on Sat morning so will miss those 4 balls.

You not heading to SMS Sat arvo for a spot of Redknapp abuse?

Normally despise all that old guff, albeit coming from just one or two over-enthusiastic Yanks, it has to be said. But I do get a buzz from the atmosphere generated at Ryder Cup matches, and great to see how much it means to some of the players. Take Europe's postman, for instance.

Europe's Postman is a pretty nauseating term dreamt up by Sky. A good programme on him last night though.

The one issue with watching golf on Sky is avoiding Monty when he commentates, but I think we can switch to US commentary if we want to this time.

Are you serious, American commentary is utter sh!te? Like listening to two hyped up twa@ts in a bar (usually called Jim & Bob) spouting statistics.

The American commentary is quite often not very American with the likes of Faldo, Oosterhuis and Feherty being regular.

I know what you mean about people like Jim Nantz and Gary McCord though, but it's still preferable to Monty.

Golf commentary is hardly gripping whoever commentates but I'm looking forward to seeing of the yanks again.
