    Heads gone

Steven Fletcher may have found his head again !

Possible return on the cards, you heard it here first.

Back page of todays Express and Star. Kenny says no moves from us purely speculation but would not be bothered should he fit the bill, if Fletcher was carrying any "baggage" from when he left here. Referring to his supposed injury then asking for a move I guess.

    Sunderland forwards:
    Fletcher
    Altidore
    Graham
    Wickham
    Mandron
    Watmore

The last two are young and haven't played for Sunderland in the Prem yet. They've spent about 25 million combined on Fletcher, Altidore, and Graham combined and none of them play much. Woof.

I hope this story is just a rumour, i don't want to see Fletcher in a Wolves shirt again. I may even send my 'smart card' back.

Oh wait, i just had a Benny moment then

I'd be worried about him getting injured. The season we got relegated from the prem, Fletcher went out injured early on. Doyle wasn't up to being the goal scorer, and things went down from there.

Do we want carpetbaggers having just spent bucket loads to get rid of cash to get rid of Mr O'H.?

Yes, his departure from Wolves was not without ill-feeling, but like it or not, Fletcher, is just the type of striker our less-than-lethal attack is crying out for at the present time - someone who can maintain a genuine presence in front of goal (or have some of you forgotten how effective he could be when fed with a half-decent ball ?). I know some will disagree, but I think our goal difference would be a lot healthier than it is had Fletch' been part of our strike force. If he was fit and ready to go,
    I'd welcome him back tomorrow.

Would be a great loan signing.
If he came back it would show he's grown up a bit too.
Of all the strikers we've had in the past 7 seasons, I'd only want either him or SEB back to help with our current situation.

Might be bolstering the forward ranks with Kei Kamara. Big guy at 6'3" (1.91m), plays forward or left wing. Had a successful time at Sporting KC in the US, two stints with clubs in England (Norwich and Middlesbrough), but no real scoring record in England. Kenny said he did ok in training the past couple days. He's not under contract anywhere, so I have to imagine the biggest reason we are on him is because he'd be fairly cheap. If he's signed, I would think it'd be as stopgap til we get a more established or high ceiling target in.

    If

a- he was really fit and

b- he could look KJ in the eye and say he really wanted it then I'd have him back in a heartbeat

Can't see it happening tho- more chance we'd end up with Heskey or someone
