when they lost to Hearts it was Charles Green fault. He is very good at trying to take the spotlight off himself, about the only thing he is good at. He doesn't do walking away and they can afford to sack him.

I don't think they can afford to sack him at the moment BUT suppose for just one moment they realised at long last the McCoist is no longer worth the outlay. He was at one stage to be a cheerleader for whoever was in the boardroom and get thousands of waverers to come in the door.
To be fair there were ver 31K at the start of the game last night which is a great crowd.

Suppose Sevco decided to cut their losses with McCoist and rather than paying him the reported 800K+ severance package (a lot of money for Sevco) they might just take the Receivership option, and pay him just a fraction of it. He couldn't grumble too loudly could he?

I suspect they'll see where they are at Christmas and if they're not 100% sure of coming 1st o

Dunno if it holds north ov the border, but footballing debts have to be paid in full if club/ex-club wants to stay/re-join the league structure. HMRC have spent years down south unsuccessfully challenging it.

You mean the football debts would be like a preferred creditor? Not going to help them get out from under the liability to pay off fat sally so.

not sure if any team has ever gone into administration and got promoted at the same time.

this is the scenario that could happen to rangers given the right set of circumstances, also it will be interesting to see if they get a 25 or 15 point deduction if they do hit administration.

To be fair if I had that Moshnee in my team I would blame him quite a lot too. I heard he turned up at Ibrox looking for a cleaning job, telling them he was a sweeper and Ally kindly took him in. :/
