On August 04, 2013, Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, addressed the Duma, (Russian Parliament), and gave a speech about the tensions with minorities in Russia:
In Russia, live like Russians. Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live in Russia, to work and eat in Russia, it should speak Russian, and should respect the Russian laws. If they prefer Sharia Law, and live the life of Muslim’s then we advise them to go to those places where that’s the state law.
Russia does not need Muslim minorities. Minorities need Russia, and we will not grant them special privileges, or try to change our laws to fit their desires, no matter how loud they yell ‘discrimination’. We will not tolerate disrespect of our Russian culture. We better learn from the suicides of America, England, Holland and France, if we are to survive as a nation. The Muslims are taking over those countries and they will not take over Russia. The Russian customs and traditions are not compatible with the lack of cultur

Dare one agree with him!? We all know he is right yet we continue to show over tolerance to a group who themselves seem far less tolerant to any other than themselves.

If we speak up we get branded, if they do it`s ok, or more to the point handled like there is a live grenade being handed round.

If posts like this are read some are open to being labelled extremists. We are living in a keep quiet and except the sh1 te society, sitting around nodding our heads and smiling whilst the non indigenous slowly eat at what was once ours. ( we were guilty of it in the past)

There is politically correct and stupidity, PC should work both ways, the latter corrected and made right.

An interesting view. I would imagine he privately very much supports the coalition air strikes and the way that its objectives are flexible and renewable.

Putin does have a point though, why should we bend over to help and assist people that want to move here?

This I have pondered for a long time. It IS the case.

Ar Russia, the beaming example of democracy, honesty and racial tolerance! You cannot compare Russia and Britain. Take away their oil and gas and where would they be? Go to many places in Russia and Britain will seem like utopia.

That being said don't disagree that a immigrant should try to integrate in society and learn the language. Also agree that Sharia Law is not welcome. It isn't welcome in many Muslim states or by many Muslims either.
