I think he was. I heard that when he said he liked to be whipped and chained, it was taken as metophorical. When what he meant was that he loved ***ual deviency. Poor man, never had hot barbed wire attached to his balls. And instead had to make do with girls in gimp masks, rather than the hairy blokes he desired. Very misunderstood.
