    Roy Keane

I don't think I'm a bad manager, but at Ipswich I managed badly,” he says in the book, which he wrote with Booker Prize-winning author Roddy Doyle.

"I spoke to some people like something on the bottom of my shoe,” concedes Keane, who is now the assistant manager of the Republic of Ireland and Aston Villa.

“I couldn't feel it - me and the club,” he admitted, adding, "I don't f****** like blue. City were blue, Rangers were blue. My biggest rivals were blue. Is that childish?”

It seems this was taken from his new book.

Roy Keane Mick McCarthy can you tell the difference well in my opinion one is a real Gentleman who is a very good manager the other is as someone on another site said He's greedy, unpleasant, arrogant, disrespectful and most of all he's the biggest @rsehole in world football. If anyone can someone in football they like less than this man I would love to hear it!

It must make MM happy to be achieving success where he completely failed

Speaking on the sports prog. just now on Radio Suffolk, he was saying he wanted to put the record straight with his book over a lot of things that had been said about him that were "bending the truth"...sounded quite a decent bloke.

Decent Bloke? Would a decent bloke walk out on his country anyway the beard has gone on the Irish TV which he has been on almost every day slagging Fergie and others off he said he was lazy that's the reason for the beard.

63mins and Murphy on for Ireland with the score 7-0

    Just playing devil's advocate.

He said he was quite seriously injured at the time and sounded like he was recanting all he said. Perhaps he still is an ar5ehole.

There's got to be a considerable irony though given Ipswich Town FC...makes me wonder if, just a tiny bit, it has made Mick more determined to do well with The Town?

    Great result for Ireland!
