    New manager

Sky bet latest, for what it's worth, include

    Mickey Adams
    Neil Cox
    Gary Rowett
    Sean O'Driscoll
    Brian McDermott
    Neil Aspin
    James Aspin
    James Beattie
    Andy Crosby
    Payul Ince
    Kevin Blackwell
    Alan Curbishley
    Iain Dowie
    Tony Mobray
    Paulo Di Canio
    Nicky Butt
    Glen Hoddle

Not much in that lot that would fill you with complete confidence that they could get us out of our current mess. As is always the case you're generally looking at people who have failed in their last post. Let's hope we get it right.

That list is in order, by the way, with Mickey Adams second favourite behind Andy Dawson, so I don't expect to see Glenn Hoddle's car driving up Jack Brownsword Way any time soon.

I can't believe Swann will appoint from within again so even if Dawson gets the usual bounce results I'd be surprised if he goes down that route.
