Thread: Steve Taylor

    Steve Taylor

Reliable source tells me, he has been handed contract to coach and run the U21's. Done deal and from what I understand, a well respected coach with the players.

He's been part of mark robins coaching set up at Huddersfield, Barnsley and Coventry. Yesterday Robins took the hot seat at S****horpe so I can see him ending up there

doubt it, purely on the basis that he lives in Duffield and wishes to be local. Scunny is a bit of a trek and my understanding is that their parting (he left before Robbins) from Huddersfield, was a little messy.

Chris' doubts make me sceptical. To be honest, the under 21's are seemingly doing a great job at the minute, more than holding their own in the u21 Prem. I can't see why we'd make the change.

Good management is about changing things to improve when there it is not obvious there needs improvement?

Spot on - Always try to be one step ahead of the game - doesn't always come off but it's essential not to get into a "things are OK why change?" frame of mind.

Indeed didnt just such a decision just over a year ago result in significant improvement? (unless you follow certain Rodents cult)
