    Next up Brentford

Well what can one say we have not played the Bee's since the 2002/03 season with an season double over them .This fixture will add more spice to it due to connections off the field over the Summer regarding a certain Adam Forshaw transfer saga plus the resignation of Uwe Rossler about 10 months ago taking over from Owen Coyle .

Brentford as we know were promoted last season and have a mixed start to there life in the championship with two away league wins at Blackpool and Rotherham an amazing 6-6 draw at Dagenham and then losing 4-0 to Middlesbro and 2-1 to Watford

Wigan v Brentford head to head

    At the jjb/DW W 9 D 5 L 1 F 27 A 13

    At Griffin Park W 8 D 2 L 5 F 21 A 19

Of course their is one other match to mention the Freight Rover Trophy win at Wembley in 1985 with a 3-1 win thanks to goals from Mike Newell ,Tony Kelly and David Lowe

Brentford are about to move from Griffin Park to an new stadium at Lionel road subject to planning permission

What a day that was in 85.

Tony Kelly, the best player i've seen never to play in the top flight. Perhaps if he'd kept off the pies and pasties he'd have gone further. Then again, it would have been our loss if he had.

    Looking forward to Saturday.

what happens if we lose ?
will rosler be on his way out of the door?
this form cant carry on forever .. cant see Whelan putting up with it ..
Its about time the players grew a pair and started to prove they are a step above this league.
