The guy had a bad game. He has been a loyal and solid player for Scotland. He put his hands up and admitted it.

    Fair play to him.

    Who are you, his Dad?

Hutton has never been the best of defenders but his speed and his attacking qualities means he gets away with it most of the time.

He's probably still our best option at RB though. He will hopefully learn from Tuesday night.

If he's not learned basic concentration by this stage in his career he never will.

However, you are correct in that he does have attacking qualities - but it is nice if defenders can actually defend.

Gordon Dalziel is nae the sharpest tool in the box either - such a shame we cannot hear this phone-in up in god's country.

When I saw this title, I thought it may have been about the current Clyde FC manager actually talking about Clyde FC.

It's comedy gold at times - if you didn't know better you'd actually think it was RabC phoning up at times - KnowWhaAhMeanBigMonAnAwrat. There are some right zoomers phonin up regularly and its hilarious to hear the pundits contradicting themselves, never mind each other, over certain points.

Didnae hear Clyde tonight, but apparently a Zombie phoned in tae complain that playing at Celtic Park would be giving the Republic of Ireland a massive advantage against Scotland because they would be taking tae the field and seeing a tricolour flying over the North Stand...

Heard that loon right enough. Even the pundits were pointing out to him that both teams take the field with their flags flying. It had to be pointed out to him that when Georgia played Scotland the Georgian flag was flying. The phonecaller wasn't having it! All some kinda finian plot apparently

I thought Shug made a decent point the other night on Clyde (even a stopped clock is right twice a day Shug)

He was going on about the huge salary the Celtic CEO Lawwell gets - about 1M a year apparently. And that salary was being justified by some Celtic fans saying the guy has done great guiding Celtic to Europe and buying low while selling high when it comes to players.

Now, maybe I'm a traditionalist but I'd have thought that the first team manager was every bit as important (if not moreso) a position at a club as the CEO in terms of results and achievements. Yet Celtic opted for a manager on the cheap to replace the last guy, who in turn wasn't even the highest paid manager in Scotland at one stage despite bringing his club to the latter stages of the CL.

Money doesn't guarantee success, but lack of sufficient spend does limit yer options dramatically.
