Ched Evans has been given a new 2 year £500,000 deal by Sheff Utd!
Matter now closed lets move on.
Not according to Sheffield United.
I read through his website yesterday. I thought about it for a while and figured on balance he SHOULD be back playing football for Sheff Utd again.
The main argument being that anyone who does time could be shunned from all activities in life but that achieves nothing - we may as well bring back capital punishment and hang all convicts or deport them if they have no place in society Alternatively make them moderators of ForestMad - as if that's not run by totalitarian law breakers already.
I reckon Ched plays football again but donates half of his earnings to women's charities and that's good for everyone. A win win.

Why would he give any of his salary to a women's charity if he has done nothing wrong? Makes him look guilty?
Thing is:
Did this girl go back
Derby should have beaten QPR in the play off final last year. The fact that they didn't was an injustice but it remains a fact, not point arguing about it.
The same goes for Ched's rape charge.
Reading the court transcript why was one convicted and not the other?she was to intoxicated to consent before she met McDonald so how was he let off?he would of been a better judge of her drunkness (meeting talking to her and walking with her) than someone who walked in and seen her having ***!
A expert also said that the amount of alcohol she had wouldnt cause her memory loss.she also lied under oath about her the drugs she took and the expert evidence was that she had taken it 2-3 days before.
Again the whole case was based on her not being able to consent to *** because of how drunk she was and her memory loss after she went to the kebab shop.which was before she met McDonald so how were both not sent down or both walk free?
Polish, so in your eyes, your argument is that either both were guilty or neither.
I woukd guess the jury would have been influenced by the fact she was at the takeaway with the other guy, walked with him to the hotel etc. Although she claims to be blind drunk, I guess her acts gave the jury reasonable doubt that in his eyes there was consent for him
However, Evans had done none of that. He was invited to the hotel by his mate, so in juries eyes I suspect they couldnt attribute the same reasonable doubt as they could for McD. Lets say all 3 had walked to the hotel together from the takeaway...then the outcome would have been different, IMO.
Whether she really was too drunk to consent, who knows. The jury obviously felt the crime was real. Also, Evans leaving by the fire escape...why?
If she was passed out in the room, and McD phoned Evans to come over and "have a go", would he be guilty? For all we know, that could of happened
Anyway, Evans has opportunity to clear his, and
I feel bad for Ched on this one, hear me out first. If I am wrong, feel free to correct me on any facts as I havent read MASSIVELY into this case.
As I understand it, Cheds friend had gone on a night out with a girl, pulled and gone back to a hotel. He has text Ched, asking him if he wants to come over as he's pulled a tart. Ched has gone over, she seemed keen at the time and whatever has happened has happened. No cry of rape at the time, Ched seems to have done nothing wrong. She cried rape in the morning because she felt guilty/embarrased. His mate has got away with it because he was deemed equally as drunk? Ched not because he hadn't had a drink. If you hadn't met someone before, how are you supposed to know how drunk they are? And as for him walking out the fire escape, yeah if I had a girlfriend and I'd been playing away, I certainly wouldn't want to be caught walking out of a hotel at that time in the morning!! Especially if I was a professional footballer.

Anywa
I am not getting involved in this too much but as polish said there is something deeply wrong with the females evidence and here sudden loss of memory that is obvious .
