    STATEMENT FROM THE BOARD

What is the clubs boards opinion of the teams performances and league position so far this season, not even the usual vote of confidence for the managers position,so come on give us your thoughts on the way forward!!!!!!!!! how do we get out the position we are in with no obvious answer in front of us?

    re: STATEMENT FROM THE BOARD

It is absolutely pathetic that the board are being so quiet over our current footballing issues. In the event of a business failing, as we certainly are, you'd expect reassurance from the board but their silence is deafening, leading to serious questions being asked over the club and how it is being run.

As someone on this board said previously we are in a perfect storm - lack of money, lack of direction at board level since Leeann Dempster left, a very inexperienced general manager, no PR, poor team, management that are being really tested and, most worryingly of all, no assets to sell to generate revenue.

Yesterday was dismal - the board has to tell us what is happening. Yes, they could just continue to bury their heads in the sand as they have cash from season ticket holders, but what is more worrying for fans us the potential impact upon revenue generation and survival if we end up in a play-off situation.

Someone in the board needs to man up and speak up. Soon.

I expect they will be focussing on whether the Well Society will somehow hit the cash target by November or trying desperately to find an alternative.

The board essentially promised an update and either the 'success' of the Society or an alternative plan in November. While not playing down the severity of the mess we're in on and off the pitch, they have no need to make an interim statement - in the grand scheme of things, another handful of games between now and the scheduled update hardly matters.

If we hear nothing from the board by December, never mind the fortunes on the pitch, it's time for concern.

Do you think it would have helped if Boyle hadn't put £9m in?

Given our current predicament its not a particularly helpful or relevant question to ask. You might as well ask if it would have helped if we've we'd won the Scottish Cup in 1976.

Lets deal with the here and now.
