    Would you?

I've passed 3 vans on the motorway this evening with Forest emblems stuck on them (some people really have poor taste), which got me thinking, if you needed a plumber or electrician to do some work on your house would you think twice about giving them the work if you knew they supported your bitter rivals?

Sometimes when I'm on call and get jobs in nott's I purposely wear a derby top just to pee them off, never had any trouble and even ended in friendly banter having said that most of the time the police are still there

I would be more concerned with whoever could do the best job hopefully at the right price , but I would not normally tell them who I supported, and definitely not until the job was done. Nobody's perfect. I did have a Leicester City gas engineer last year but he was such a happy chappy. The fact that his team was going up there was no way I wasn't going to get good service.

The problem with hiring a Forest supporting tradesman would be that they'd do really well for the first fifth of the job but then think it was all sorted and stop trying. Then you'd get the inevitable slide, the buying of new tools at Christmas but still then ultimate failure.

Yeah I can see that, its like they say all the right things and you give them the job, they buy all the right tools and materials and job starts well but about 3/4 of the way through the jobs starts turning pear shaped and you have to kick them off site

One of my dogs took an instant dislike to an electrician from Derby.

he said, "I don't understand what her problem is?"

"It's ok mate" , "she thinks she's a sheep dog at times"

"Shall I fill the paddling pool for her to herd you through? "

Cool, I have a 1 year old long haired dog, a 5 year old long haired bitch and a 10 year old short haired dog, they are my best mates.

There to protect the sheep from the wolves, fiercely loyal and a one man breed, love em!

There's a group of forest fans who work regularly near us. They get dropped off at the cemetery every week in their lovely minibus looking smart in their overalls and fluorescent tops. Mind you I wouldn't have a red dog working around here as the fumes from their Capri wouldn't set off the right image. Besides you would need to get a reputable builder in afterwards to replace the lead from the roof
