    Poor management?

Just was curious that we flew Thorne out for a pre season friendly, short notice and a bit of distance - we know the result of that...

Now ward after a big international, we play him now he is going to have a spell on the sidelines. He has always been a bit injury prone...

Do people think these are totally bad luck or in some way the fault of the manager for selection?

I was a bit suspect of playing Hughes to be honest.

No, not really managers fault, but that said I think I would rest Will tonight.

I think perhaps the Ward injury could have been avoided. But I think Thorne's was quite simply horrendous bad luck. He had done some pre-season training with the Baggies, hadn't he?

The exciting thing is now that someone else will have a chance to shine. Whether it is Calero, Santos, or even Bunjaku there's an exciting pool of talent to choose from.

Any word on the lad we signed from Seville (Bunjaku) He looks extremely tidy from what i've seen on youtube and in the U21s highlights. Calero, Thomas and Lowe seem to always get the plaudits.

Just bad luck, you play your best team. If Ward and Hughes had not played and we lost then we'd be saying it was bad management.

Jeez some people really have a downer don't they Like has been said if they didn't play some people would have blamed the manager on a loss or had a go for not playing them. You play your best side for the team you play. Injuries happen. Stevie Mac has already proved hes a top manager 100% better with motivation than that idiot we had in charge before, 100% better in every department. You are just like that fella that doesn't have a life except on here your glass is always half empty

Pretty sure ACL injuries are down to landing on the knee joint incorrectly, or some sort of same movement and impact.

Nothing to do with fitness, flights or fatigue.

Ward would ave come off on 60 mins anyway.Probably gambled he could do it. But it worked.

We should wrap them all in cotton wool & just show them once in a while.

Im not saying that, im just posing the question whether or not resting players after big international fixture(s) is a good idea, especially considering their injury history. Two examples where if we did peraps things may be different?

However top of the table on a side note which is awesome!
