Been a good month of sliiiiiiding too. On the 22nd of September we were 9th 5 points behind the dogs who were at the summit. I watched the Tottenham forest game (24th September) and when they took the lead they were all signing about being top of the league and going to Wembley. They were soon put right about going to Wembley and there has now been a 9 point swing in our favour.

    Happy days. MTG!

Good to hear from you fella! Me I'm pretty ****ed off abut this lack of progress, what with tha and the lack of signings that have improved the team and strengthened the squad. i mean what have Dawkins, Thorne, Shotton, Omar, calero, Ibe, Christie and Butland ever done for derby?

Good Points Swale, I amazed we're not walking the relegation type rope with a wally with a brolly in charge

I think he has erased that image, personally I enjoy listening to the after match interview, which is lucid, honest and does not involve blaming the ref, the ballboy or a player if things haven't gone our way.

There's nothing worse in life than disrespect

Admittedly clough erm wasn't the best at his post match interviews but dont slate the fantastic job he did in saving and totally rebuilding derby county on nothing more than a wip round

You know I actually used to like Clough's post match interviews. Yes there were some 'erms', but his answer to questions were on the whole thoughtful and honest. I guess its why he got so much stick for slating players in public.
His midweek pieces to RamsPlayer were even more interesting.

McLaren on the other had is the epitome of a modern media training manager. He can talk for 10 minutes without actually saying anything. I have no doubt he is a very different character in private, but the interviews aren't worth listening to.
