Forest already won the league in August
The form guide is interesting. Shows the sharp decline in the last few matches of some of the "favourites"
Forest also forgotten how to win games.
Anyway it solves Rattys question of we can only do well against teams lower than us.
Problem solved..
Long long way to go but to be top when not playing at your best in some achievement
just imagine how good we'll be when thorne gets back.Originally Posted by minesahartington

Makes a lovely change not having to go on to sites like that, and scroll down just to see where were are in the table.
Yes i think there will be a little bit of applause for the lads when they come out on Saturday
In fairness to Forest, they just aren't winning much but they're losing record is pretty impressive.
Last night they played the side in first place (at kick off - Watford) away from home and got a pretty damned good score draw out of it. An excellent result that allowed us to leapfrog into top spot.
I think it's a bit early to be writing them off tbh. And it's great to be top but it's still so early in the season that I'm very wary of being anything other than cautious.
Yep, but drawing too many is always going to hold back your progress. Over half of their games drawn, so if they managed to find that little bit extra they'd be top by a distance. I actually said to someone yesterday after looking at the table, imagine if we'd won a couple of the games we'd drawn. Two goals would have brought 4 more points and it would have us 7 clear of third already. Then again if we hadn't got late goals against Bournemouth and Blackpool we'd beOriginally Posted by Ramondo
It does look like its going to be a tighter league than last year, though of course we could go on a wining streak and be 10 pts clear by the new year (thast my optimistic hat on).
I agree, this season will be tighter. It might be we could get the same points haul as last season and go up as Champions. IIRC we got more points last season than Cardiff did when they went up as Champions.Originally Posted by swaledale
Like you I am hopeful of a winning streak in this run of 7 games to the next break. We have won the first two. All the remaining 5 are winnable too. If we can do that, then its a case of keeping calm and not losing in the tougher games coming up before Christmas.
Happy Days.
