The Concept of Flukes

Following Chalkys suggestion that Notts Countys win last night was a fluke, tongue in cheek, id like to expand on that.

For all of you this is your first dip into intellectual debate, be it on a low level. Your idea of flukes is wrong, that a fluke is a one off event, it is not.

Creation is infinite, therefore possibilities are infinite, as per Quantum Mechanics.

Carlisle Uniteds ascent to the top of Div 1 in the seventies was a fluke, getting out of div 2, now the championship was a fluke, an ongoing fluke.

Winning the first three games in div1 was a fluke, that ended at that point, Carlisle were relegated.

The reverse is true, good teams that should win a league do not, because of injuries, poor manager, loss of form etc.

At least one of Brazils world cup win was a fluke. How does that work then? On a mathematical basis, those things described will happen taking into account the vast breadth of football, in this galaxy and beyond. It is a surprise flukes do not happen more of

We may have fluked out way to 5th spot Frank but all that matters is that we are in the 5th spot...

Things average out in regards to luck. Im glad you acknowledge Countys current position is false.
