I'd rather we progressed. Not least for the slim chance of silverware, but it is giving our fringe players a chance in the 1st team.

I'm very competitive and hate losing, but I seriously wouldn't mind if we went out of the cup tomorrow.
Yes I would love to win it but realistically it isn't going to happen, and looking at the league this season and how open it is, we must take this chance.
For example, we'd be 7 points off top, 6 off second with our current points tally at the moment. We'd actually be 5th as opposed to 1st, and Blackpool (who finished two points & two places above the relegation zone) had more points after 14 games last season than any team has this year.
If we were to go out, and cut one or two three game weeks out of our schedule, it could be very important. We've dropped some points in three game weeks. Done well for the first two then off the boil in the last one, for example Millwall 0-0.
If we lost to Fulham, which wouldn't be an upset, they're on form & at home and still have a good side despite their start. I don't know if it's just me that thinks this but I'd take going out of the cup ju

I want my team to win!
If fans pay out their hard earned cash to support their team the least they can do is give everything to win and send their fans home happy!
Yeah, just to clarify I want to win too, but say we won tomorrow, but Martin picked up a long term injury, would people still be happy? League over cup every single day.

Im with RFC, going out could be no bad thing. Crap for the fans that go down the cottage but rationally it makes sense.
