It' the effect of Ibe coming in. Dawkins has stepped up to the plate.

Let's hope it is the start of a more productive spell from him. I look forward to seeing him in the flesh next week and seeing if he's looking a dif player to the one I've seen previously.

I've always thought him a useful player, if he can add goals to his locker then he will be key for us this season.

A fantastic performance from Dawkins. His two goals were of immense quality, and should fill him with confidence. His team play was second to none also.

One thing that I felt Ibe has over Dawkins is directness. He's not afraid to take people on even if it means losing the ball however I thought Dawkins played extremely well last night and showed me something I hadn't seen from him before. He was direct, showed close touch and a cracking finish.

The the improvisation for that flick was sublime, pure class. Had Messi scored that they'd be raving about it for months. This is the Dawkins I want to see and yeah currently Ibe would be ranked 4th on my list of our wingers. I'd still say Ward and Russell are our best two, although with Ward being injured I'd like to see Russell & Dawkins vs Brentford.

Not really fair. 5-2 up, the team took their foot off the gas.

On Dawkins though, if he can add goals OR assists to his game, it will make him a really valuable member of the team this year.

What's been so disappointing so far is he hasn't really delivered either. Compared to Ward (goals) and Russell (assists) he has been nowhere close.

Really hope his is ready to kick on now.
