Golbourne assured he still has big role at Wolves

Kenny Jackett explains why the need for a change was needed at left back and also at centre-half. Goals from the left hand side were going in and it needed sorted. Seven points from the last nine and the picture looks brighter. I rate Golbourne and enjoy watching him play, but at times his side of the pitch was targeted. He will come back stronger. - view external link

Agree but overall I rate Golbourne better than Rowe as I think his best position is certainly midfield but of course KJ is having a problem fitting him in so he is trying to keep everyone happy by getting a few games under their belts.

I can't argue with any of that. Rowe did well in midfield when Evans was injured, it was a case of dropping him, or finding a place in the side for him. With a more attacking formation in the second half at Leeds, Rowe worked well with Henry on the left hand side. It's up to Golbourne to try and force Kenny Jackett's hand. Goals were conceded and Jackett seems to think Rowe is better in the air. It really depends who Rowe is up against, ie a Steve Morison as in the Leeds first half.

Scott Golbourne unavailable yesterday a with foot injury. That's why he wasn't on the bench then.

Dicko sidelined with tight hamstring, i hope he's back sooner, rather than later. Wolves miss a player like him. He offers movement up top and a good link up.

Take my hat off to you guys off to Ipswich. Would have been joining you a few years ago but age starts to catch you up so its just the Mol for me these days and the radio for away matches.Flying up to Newcastle on News Years Day 1990 to watch Bully bang in 4 was my best away trip memory.
