Strikers - able to adapt vs last season?

Last season, Smac was able to switch to a credible front 4 when either we wanted to try to turn a draw to a win or to salvage a result.
Martin plus 3 from Ward / Russell / Bamford / Sammon / Dawkins.

Sammon, for his lack of goals, still did seem to worry opponents and he did actually get a few assists and winning goals (Watford springs to mind).

This season, we still can have a decent front 3 and "goals for" suggest working reasonably well.

However, with Ward injured (coinciding with a couple of poor performances) Best not looking threatening, Ibe not showing much end result and Sammon / Bamford not here, has Smac got the tools to change it?

I personally think another striker is now a priority, even to just mix things up when needed.

    Thoughts!

    Bang on the money Rob.

    Bamford was better than Ibe
    Sammon was better than Best

Ward being injured is a major loss too.

We should always be looking to shake things up in front of goal. a proven striker at this level is essential for a sustained promotion push. Maybe give Mason Bennett a chance, or brin
