The Bulgarian FA clearly see it as a slur on their country with the "he's fae Eastern Europe so its more than likely he is racist", judgement by the SFA.

I've no idea what Tonev said, but as he's Eastern European IT IS more likely he said something poor.

I can't imagine anyone in Scotland gives a sh!te what the Bulgarian FA thinks.

Was just away to post the same thing.

The civil law standard for guilt is, I believe, on the balance of probabilities. I presume that is the standard against which Tonev's actions are being measured by the SFA.

I.e, the evidence does not have to prove Tonev's guilt beyond reasonable doubt, as this is not a criminal case.

Come on now, Pogue. He's been done bang to rights and should take his medicine. I also think a course with the 'Kick Out Racism' would help this young man to see the error of his ways. There is no place for this kind of behaviour in the game and we ALL need to fight back against racism.
