    The bitter bigots of Lewes in Sus***

    Every 5th November they burn effigies of the Pope with No Popery banners but this year its Alex Salmond and Nessie. ...what does it take tae be this bitter Mr Timslayer ?

    It's a tribute really as it shows how much they fear us. If the SNP send back 40+ M.Ps to Westminster at the next G.E (possibly led by Mr Salmond) then they'll definitely have something to fear.

    For all those worried about what happened to the effigy of Mr Salmond I can assure all concerned that the effigy was not burned as the council, after receiving a number of complaints, did not want to offend anybody and chose not to put the effigy on the bonfire.

    One suspects that a number of the people who complained about this were silent when the effigies of Margaret Thatcher were burned.
