Commons - fat and always injured
Reid - fat and always injured
Paterson - skillful and should be played more
Maguire - skillful and should be played more
The manager has deep emotional ties with a club that the fans can't look past.
Defensive football at home to halt the slide, with hoof-ball until May.
Poor home crowds watching turgid football in a poor atmosphere. Early cup exits with 4 or 5 league wins on the bounce and then long periods without a win.
Ah, to be rid of Clough and not have Pearce. Hopefully he'll be there for a few years.
Anything to add, Rat?

the question is...how long will it take them to sack pearce and appoint nigel clough? it's just a matter of time.
It's funny, I have been thinking the same all day. If Forest lose Saturday I think it will be all over for Pierce.Originally Posted by Rapid

Does anyone really think Clough would go to Forest given the opportunity?
he's their top goal scorer of all time (post war). forest through and through. it's exactly what his dad did.Originally Posted by Bear DCFC

I don't think he would touch it with an extendable barge pole. He has his reasons and he will stick with Blades. Pearce won't walk and Fawaz will not sack him. Their fortune has to change soon; they are rock-bottom of the form table. No surprise really. It takes time to build a proper team and instill a system that suits.Originally Posted by Bear DCFC

That's Forests point of view. I don't reckon Nigel see's it that way. He's too self righteous to walk away from Sheffield United this early. He has a job to do there and he'll see it through for as long as he can. Maybe after that, but unless he gets sacked by Sheffield then it aint happening any time soon.

I agree with half of what you put, but I can't see their fortunes changing any time soon - especially with Fawaz and Pearce in charge. Nigel is exactly what they need in all honesty, just the timing is all wrong.
