    missing Andy Reid

Says SP, I have to agree, it looks like we are going to have another season ruined by injuries to key players, I don't think Reidy was fully fit at the start of the season but he was a very good leader on the park, since being out we haven't won a match, he is such a ***** player for us, we seem lost without him, unfortunate.

Es*** I agree with all that. However, I said in the summer that a replacement should have been found. I was slagged off from here to eternity for suggesting it.
Reid is so important, we look lost without him. However, father time has caught up with him as well. We're paying for it now.

The pivotal figure in the middle of the park, is what all decent sides have.
Charlie Adam if a classic example of this when at Blackpool.

There's more than 1 way to skin a cat. If you can't create, then stifle. Squeeze the breath out of the opponent's midfield, clog up their attacks and then wait for a mistake and pounce.

Or play the long ball, use the flanks, even do what Newcastle did when the had Shearer, snipe here snipe there, force the challenge and advance the ball, eventually the mistake will come.

I don't care, park the bus even. We are not Real Madrid to demand that our team plays on the floor with fluidity. Get the boring 1 nils and thereafter when things are okay, play the football you want or think you can.

He tried that last night Romans. Packed the midfield, played a midfielder up front and we was absolute ****e.

Right playing a team like Brentford is easy. They are not the strongest at the back and will try to play. They won't spoil the game or kick lumps out of you.

Their central defenders though good in the air are not the quickest. You play two up top at home with quick wide players. A Robbie Earnshaw playing on the shoulder of the 2 centre halves and spinning in behind is the way to go.

Pearce is totally clueless and in my opinion inept.

Is he that crucial to you?

You can't rely on 32 year old midfielder who has a poor injury record for the duration of the season. Reid should have a 'lookalike' in the squad that can do what he does...a younger fitter version.

Take Eustace, crucial position in the way we play but he's 35...so we bought in Thorne (unlucky) but the got Mascarell in...you need a like for like in every position to maintain performance and results.

Missing Andy Reid? How can you miss him he's the size of a bus?

    He's visible from space.
