The Boring Relegation Thread & Other Boring Stuff.

As it stands the three promoted clubs occupy the three relegation spots.

Since the start of the Premier League there have been 62 promotions from the Championship and of those 62 promotions, only 27 were relegated in their first season - 44 percent (info from Daily Mirror).

Over the last nine seasons 17th position has earned an average of 37.1 points.

18th = 35.1 points & 20th has been 25.2. Pompey finished with 19 points but they actually earnt 28 but had a 9 point reduction.

We are earning 1.6 points per game. Over a season this average would have us finish on 62 points which would have finished as high as 5th or as low as 8th - with an average finish of 6th and a bit

If we continue our current goalscoring rate we'll finish with 66 goals for and 48 against.

Would anyone care to add anything

Sam Allardyce chews his gum once per second. This rises to twice per second during attacks & three times per second during defence leaving him with an average 8,100 chews per game.
