Burnley striker Danny Ings bagged a brace on his home Turf as England U21s swept aside Portugal.
Ings took his impressive tally for the Three Lions to four goals in six appearances with a goal in each half as Gareth Southgate's young side lit up Turf Moor against next summer's European Championship rivals.
The Clarets hitman opened the scoring in the sixth minute and full back Carl Jenkinson doubled the lead on the stoke of half time.
Bernardo Silva halved the deficit soon after the break before Ings bundled home the third miday through the half a memorable night for the crowd favourite.
On-loan Clarets defender Michael Keane also impressed in defence, while fellow loanee Nathaniel Chalobah also starred as a second half substitute.
Well done Ingsy..carry on the good work a week on Saturday..
Assists by Will Hughes of course.
