Agree... Whelan usually sticks by his man and appears to be one of football's good guys. Uwe should maybe have stayed at Brentford?

Didn't see that coming, I thought Whelan was somebody who backed his man a bit more than that (even bearing in mind Owen Coyle). After a good season last year and after what he achieved at Brentford surely he deserved a bit more time to rectify things.
Somebody's going to snap up a good manager there
