What is Haggis? Is it road kill?

If you've never eaten haggis you've never lived. Pork belly, haggis, tatties, neeps and whiskey sauce instead of the traditional turkey.

If pudding involves deep fried Mars or Snickers I'm gonna be in heaven!

I will be sticking to the traditional turkey drumsticks frozen peas and sprouts ,followed by Cartmel sticky toffee pudding washed down with a glass or three of magners...

My daughters sorted the menu out weeks ago for the big day..

    Veggie soup..

Roast potatoes done with soya butter and plenty of it..

    Stuffing veggie of course.

    Mushrooms done in soya butter..

There's more compliments but can't remember just now..

    Vegan trifle ..

Loads of alchohol but I won't be having any as I'm driving.. Also the Scottish goverment have set lower drink driving limits.. I think that's a good thing if driving don't drink.. Hopefully that new law will save lives..

I recently bought my first ever Haggis slices from Gordons at the bottom of Bleckel in Currock when I was stocking up on my Cumberland Sausage.

    Proper nice, kids loved them.

That sounds well grim mate, get yourself over if things don't go on the upturn.
