    Apologies To Richard Keogh

I like a lot of others on here have often slated Keogh saying he would never be good enough for us. This season my opinion of him has changed. His heading, tackling, positional play and captaincy have all improved and to see his surging runs forward reminds me of Roy Mac (well not that good). So I formally apologies to Richard and eat humble pie. Well done(Please don't c**k it up against Leeds though, only joking).

Well said sir! he, like the rest of the team seem to picked themselves up have moved on from what must have been a very depressing experience.

It speaks volumes for McClarens man amanagement when he got them to remain ont he pitch at the end so that hey could see QPR players celebrate and told them, thats what you are quite capable of achieving.

    Heres hoping they do.

perhaps we should use my other thread as a confessions box?

yes indeed. Keogh has had a very good season so far. shaky first 4-5 game but after that has led by example.

he still demonstrates about once a game that he's capable of an almighty clanger. whether it be stepping on the ball or miscontrolling it. fortunately on the occasions it's happened this season we haven't been punished for it.

you just hope that when we are punished it's not in a big game like say...a play off final :-O

    but seriously though. well

    Why should he apologise?

Oh sorry, you want to apologise him. Every player makes mistakes. The player who missed a chance early for Argentina in the final v Germany, no one blamed him

Would you like to remind us who has improved him and made him progress?

Maybe fans shouldn't be as quick to get on player's backs every time they lose a bit of form.

I thought Keogh has an indifferent season last year, with his error at Wembley being one of several that cost us goals.

I will be first to admit that having wished for an upgrade in that position, the skipper has rekindled his form of his PoTY season, and has led by example this season. No one ever doubted his commitment. It was eradicating the silly mistakes that was needed, and for now, he certainly appears to have done so.

I think Shteeve bringing in Shotton (right sided CH) has made a difference as putting Keogh under pressure for his shirt

    Keep it up skipper
