It might be better if Alf switches to supporting Rovers. This would cause such an uproar, the site would be buzzing again.
He could just say he's hopping on the lift that's going up, so that he can wave as he passes the one that's going down.

The number of "views" indicated by the forum software is a clear lie, way over the top of actual views.
