Anybody who didn't judge Whelan's comments in a similar fashion to the author of this article has their own hidden motives for doing so. Whelan has always been a Marmite character and those that didn't like him wasted no time in sticking the knife into what was an easy target. Pathetic.
What he said wasn't right, nobody including the man himself have said otherwise, but calling him a racist based upon a couple of non "PC" comments beggars belief.
