The link doesn't work, but I'm guessing it's the Leeds lad who went down, took a couple of rolls and a flip after Russell touched his foot!?

As I mentioned on the other thread, possibly the most embarrassing thing I have ever seen on a football pitch.
    Cringy..

Saw this on twitter Angry, I thought it was hilarious. The caption asked if he'd been tasered?

Then again, it isn't funny and another sad indictment of the influence of foreign players on the game.

agree with you angry. 'embarrassing' is the only word for it. when I saw it happen live on Saturday I was wetting myself. the little jump is ridiculous.

I don't see why it's acceptable to be honest. I'd like to see players banned retrospectively because it's blatant play acting. it's one thing taking a dive for a foul but this is bad sportsmanship when trying to get an opponent booked/sent off which is what was happening here.

Does this mean Russell has had a Brazilian...or just another cheating Brazilian trying to get fellow professionals sent off

It's Dirty Leeds, with a twist, literally :-)

Just one more thing to add the the already long list of reasons why we hate 'dirty' Leeds

Noone is disputing it was a foul, but the reactionis way over the top and is about influencing the ref to give a card, theres a big difference between gamesmanship and blatant play acting and this falls into the latter.
