    When was your best Pompey period?

    For me, it was under Jim's managership, first time around. I was away too much to fully appreciate the Alan Ball promotion period.

    Smithy 1st time round for me as well. There was something very refreshing about the freedom in which we played, bringing through some excellent youngsters in the process.

    When we had the likes of Kennedy, Tait, Webb, Biley, Dillon and others I really looked forward to our games. Sad to say that isn't always the case now, although I always enjoy seeing the likes of Adder, Fb, Blp, Scully and Corky of course when he ventures south.
