    Zep,

    Not a conundrum at all.
£1.4m to get rid of fatty and his useless backroom team.
More cash to find a replacement and his coaching team. Not an earthly they can do that, not when they need £8.3m to keep the lights on until the season end.

The only reason he's still there is financial...and fat boy knows it.

long may he stay though, as he's the worst manager they've ever had, along with that clown Greig.

I think RTS has hit the nail on the head (ignoring the tactical awareness of the man). While the club can reduce staff costs (which are the biggest drain on any company's resources), managers are due a significant pay-off if they are binned. I wish I had a similar contract.

If you were in McCoist's shoes, would you walk away from a nice salary? I don't think so. If he get's pushed he is paid up to the end of his current deal.

Rangers are between a rock and a hard place over finance. They are fire-fighting everyday which is no way to run a business. There appears to be a lack of management on how the place spends money. I am not sure if each area has a budget allocated or they just buy what they need. There were questions over the need to invest in big screens and stadium wide wi-fi after both had been purchased. Isn't the time to ask the questions to be asked is before the orders are placed?

What they need is one person to authorise all payments so they see the big picture. H

There are some who do have regard though, those close to him who rely on his meagre earnings.

Seriously, sadly, many creditors got royally shafted and when he, or indeed Walter stroll up the marble stairs with a grin/smile on their face, sums them up, some folk have morals and some folk, sadly see money as their god.

They have one player with any value, and he is now out for the season. Not one single player will command a fee in January, although I know many of them will be off.

What's great from a non Sevconian point of view, is they is absolutely no way they won't go in to admin. They cannot keep paying the squad they have, the wages they are, the easiest way to sort this is to bin them, only way they can do that is if the players agrees to leave or they are made redundant, including the backroom staff.

    And it's bloody brilliant

Hope it's much more painful than when the old club went bust.
