    What's happened to Dougie Freedman?

Usually when we give a manager the boot, they're in every newspaper, every football talk show, explaining why they're the best thing that's happened to Bolton Wanderers, and how they're just playing it cool for now, waiting for that inevitable phone call from Real Madrid.

Not Dougie. I don't believe we've heard a peep out of him since the night Fulham did us a favour and battered us 4-0. And he's not been without his critics that a lot of people would have retaliated to.

I have to say I respect him for having that bit of class and dignity. I wish him well.

Where do we think he'll end up? Or have we scared him away from football for good?

I'd imagine Dougie is just having a break at the moment and he probably just wants to spend some quality time with his family, which is fair enough.

I'd imagine, Dougie is possibly on gardening leave, after we parted ways with him and there could well be something in his contract that stipulates that he can't speak publically about us until he is technically not employed by us anymore. I'm only guessing of course.

My mate is on gardening leave from his company and he's on full pay for 6 months, but he isn't allowed to speak to any employees or discuss the matter in public either.

Where will Dougie end up? I'd imagine he would struggle to get another job in the Championship, he may well have to drop down a league to rebuild his career.

He might be well doing what Phil Brown has done and dropping down to League 2. Brownie had a bit of a mare at Hull and Derby but is doing well at Southend in League 2

I respect anyone danm, who responds to the sh1t thrown at them in football, with a dignified silence. That's why I won't wish bad on Coyle or Freedman. They came, they tried, they failed. Any badness should be aimed at Gartside not them. Megson is a different kettle of fish totally. He alienated the fans from the outset so fk him!!!
