    Reid & hobbs

they will be back for the first home game after crimbo and fully fit for derby, that is weird as they got injured against derby, and a win today could fire our season up again

I never underestimated Boro. Always said that was going to be a proper test for us, and neither did I dismiss Bamford. In CF role, he is always going to be a threat.

I did comment on a thread about Rotherham, as that was its agenda. Didnt realise I was supposed to take it off topic though. Had you been on our Board, you could have found my comments on that topic. I thought you was supposed to be a Mod??

Why you so touchy today?? You got a valuable point from Rotherham, so slowly creeping towards the magic 50pts milestone. thought you would be happier than this

Personally I think we miss Hobbs and Cohen more than reid.in my eyes reid was playing below average before he got injured.i no we need a leader back but will his speed and fitness let us down in midfield?most his assist end up being high balls into the box,we need through balls to Britt or Antonio.hes good on the ball but I think osborn or tesche would be better in there than reid.people who say our poor form started since he was injuried in my opinion are wrong,we lost 3 leaders and that crippled us.it will be good to get him back but we won't be like Real Madrid when he's back in the team.

Without a shadow of doughty in my opinion Reid when playing bad is still better than anybody we have in midfield. He only needs a couple of great passes in a game to put players on goal. There is nobody else at forest capable of a great pass. It is midfield where we are week not at the back or front.m a strong midfield runs the game and if we Don't play a 5 man midfield at midbro we will get slautified

He wasn't finding them passes when he has played this season when he was playing poor.he has one assist and that was a high ball into the box.he wasn't at the races before his injury so I doubt he will comeback and hit his best from.we will have to wait tall Feb for that and that will be too late.
All I'm saying is don't get your hopes up that he will turn it round all on his own.

I have to agree with zidazaga. The biggest thing for me with Reidy is that he always makes himself available for the ball. Since hes been out nobody in midfield has done this to Reidy's standards. Vaughan nd Osbourne are the only others that have got close to him. As a result a lot more long ball has been played. When Reidy gets back the long ball stuff will be reduced and Assombolonga will get a lot more balls to feet and the tempo of our play will be faster.
