It is now a fact that we are rubbish away from home. Every team knows how to beat us. Steve McClaren no longer has my confidence. Promotion is a joke. We need a new back four and I hope we don't go up cos' it will be straight back down.

But we didn't turn up again. We really miss Thorne to give protection to our centre-backs & control the middle. And Forsyth isn't good enough, we desperately need a decent left-back.

I would like Eustace back & Mascarell pushed forward. We need his free-kicks and corners, because our delivery is poor otherwise. And we need our midfield to support Martin far more quickly.

A tad harsh losing confidence in the manager after a poor performance. We went into the match as leaders after 20 games. To me, that is enough for the swings and roundabouts to just about even up.I think we are amongst the best in this league.
Yet the fact that by 5.00pm, we could be 4th just shows we aren't head and shoulders the best side this season.

The decision to bring on Best at HT when it was midfield we we losing I admit, didn't make much sense to me. We seemed, if anything, to go backwards and the sending off after our last Sub was made really ended the chance to swap much.

Just shows how pivotal Martin is. He never did a thing today and we looked pretty clueless without the midfield link up play.

Its a fact, the team is suffering a drop in from, it happens as long as we can stay in touch, then I think we will recover and finish strongly.

New players won't necessarily solve the problem, and thats assuming one can get players at a price we can afford that are better on a consistent basis than those already in the squad.

Another forward and a left back would seem to be the targets.

All in all a "very bad day at the office" and we have had a few of those even when we have been winning games, although that is one difference McClaren and the coaches have made, when we hit a poor run of form, we don't seem to lose 2 matches on the trot, whereas previously we have, with these same players gone on long winless runs.
