    Alternative Ad Free

What really get`s on my T**s,is that they want you to pay £2.00p a month to have a ad free site.
Soon as you log on,a massive advert take`s over the page.
Why should we have to put up with this.
Fine if you can afford it,but still £20/£24 a year is daylight robbery.
    Any thought`s?

Totally agree Nev, absolutely ****ed about the request eac time I login. That's what you get when you're part of a corporation that signed up all the club websites

I have just logged on, clicking the accept adverts option, and not a single advert. How? You need to download a little program called *******. It's free, sits in the background, and is very effective. The icon on the title bar of this screen currently shows that it has blocked 20 ads on the page. Give it a go and preserve your sanity. Best free widget I have come across. I have no connection to the owners of the program; just another punter who is fed up with being bombarded with unwanted crap.

    re: Alternative Ad Free

Since blocking ads it seems as though I'm unable to now view videos folk have uploaded on, say, Facebook. Has anyone else had this problem?

Up-date - I've spotted an icon towards the top RH side of the screen which gives option to specify the page(s) on which you want ads blocking. Using Firefox by the way.

This info may be of help to others.

Hate to be a kill joy here, but someone has to pay for this site.
It's either going to be advertisers or the users - if everyone used ******* then everyone using the site would have to pay or the site goes bust.
