    Six points clear...

    Thank you very much!
Only 2 points separating the next four teams though, so a pretty exciting scrap for European place, Aberdeen, Accies, Dundee Utd and ICT all still got lots to play for - D. Utd and Aberdeen looking at a place in the final of the League Cup and the Scottish Cup still wide open

    probably wouldn't bet on that.

Being 6 points ahead of teams on 1/10 of your playing budget isn't much to crow about.

If you were 9 points ahead of a team with a far higher budget, then you could boast.

    Probably.

Hardly boasting - it is a simple fact.
Tell you what, why don't you get your team's supporters to actually come to games, thereby increasing your club's revenue, thereby increasing their available capital, thereby increasing their 'budget' and making them into contenders.
Everyone started out on a level playing field...

An incredible achievement by Selik to be six points clear of the big spending ICT. Well done.

In terms of the league, our 2-2 draw with St Mirren when we should have 6-0 up and that late winner for Celtic, when all the play was at the other end are the ones that rankle.

We could have got a point at Parkheid, but Celtic were much better for the first hour and deserved to be 2-0 up.

Seven behind, but should be closer - probably hoping for a draw at Tannadice this weekend though.

If I'm honest I think those chances are all but gone. Teams should have gone at Celtic like battering rams for the first few games before they started to twig what Ronny wanted them to do - they were as impregnable as a square of wet Aldi bog roll and about as much use in front of goal as a one-legged man in an arse-kicking contest. They are not going to be unbeatable, but are a much tougher nut to crack than they were
