I'm sure this subject will have been covered before,but surely there Is a better way to manage it. I believe it was brought in to stop time wasting so if a player receives treatment he has to go off the field of play. Surely this is a major disadvantage to the team who have not committed the offence? Imho we should adopt the same ideas as in rugby union whereas if the fouled player is injured the ref stops the clock and gives the player recovery time therefore stopping players feigning injury to waste time.added time can still be used at the refs discretion for subs and other time wasting incidents.
