    Morrison

I see he has signed today a 3 1/2 year contract ,only 26 so that's good contract starts in January

and the not so good news is

Birmingham City ‘need £4.4million to keep going’

    By Tom Curren December 16

    Birmingham Mail

Birmingham City’s long-standing financial issues have taken a turn for the worse with recently released figures showing the club potentially needing £4.4million ‘in the short term’ just to stay afloat, according to the Birmingham Mail.

    Birmingham face financial problems

The Blues’ accounts for the year have been published and show the cash was initially supposed to come from Birmingham International Holdings convertible bond issue in Hong Kong – but that the proposal to do so was scrapped in October.

It’s now unclear how, or even if the club will raise the required sum, the Birmingham Mail report.

Just two weeks ago former acting chairman Peter Pannu, who resigned on Friday, made the staggering claim that the club would run out of money by February due to a

Disappointing news if correct but if we can afford to sign a player on a 3 year contract
how can we be 4.4 mil in the hole.
We have not had an embargo put on us so
we must shown the wherewithal to be able to
    continue trading as normal.
Maybe the Vile mail is just stirring in up
remember blues have just taken on Tats.
I am pretty certain he would not have left his secure job at the mail without first checking
his new post was reasonably secure

It does say that Pannu has resigned so one would think it is a up to date article, however the Morrison contact would seem to contradict the financial posistion
May be there are split party's acting in different directions for control ,it is the last thing GR and the team needs it does mention dog fights most appropriate

I think the fact the league has not given us a transfer embargo is encouraging - as is the permanent signing of Morrison; who although not great is certainly effective (and now becomes a saleable asset).

Hopefully one of the dogs or a group of dogs will win the dogfight soon and we may see a way forward? We live in hopes...

Bolt the Birmingham mail are scum , they are printing rubbish to try and paint as bad a picture about the club as they can , typical , i live near liverpool and all of the newspapers in the area give support to their local clubs , the meaning evil only has one aim when it comes to our club.Don't give them any oxygen, check out daniel ivery's blog 'often partisan' it will explain in detail about the financial report the mail are referring to , which does not take into account the money received for adeyemi or the knock on payment for jordan mutch's move to qpr, the fact that we are signing morrison and zigic, and offering a new 2 year contract to gray , means the club is in way better shape than the meaning evil would want to report , they don't want to report good news about bcfc , just c rap
