    Talking of Stars on Jerseys

One more wee question for the night. Rangers had 5 stars on theirs for the 50 titles, but why did they never put a sixth one on for their European Competition win as well, surely that was worth more than the Scottish titles ?

I presume ye support Sevco FC, why did ye no commemorate 1972 on yer jersey along with the 5 titles ? Dont tell me the 5 stars was just a pathetic parochial wind up so the European win didnae merit tae be included ?

You do know that club were liquidated? John MacKay mentioned it on Scotland Today a few years back.
Sevco have still got the stars I see, must be one for each duper or dupee?.

Stars were only ever put on shirts to commemorate each ten domestic trophies won. Different leagues have adopted different systems.
The addition of stars to represent victories in non-domestic competitions is a relatively recent development
