Crewe 1 versus Burnley 9

This result came from the Development squad. I cannot find any mention of it on our OS, but it is naturally reported on Burnley's site.

We had Scott Shearer in between the sticks and Marcus Haber did score for with a powerful header. Burnley had some top players in their team, including: Michael Kightly (hat-trick), Sam Vokes, Marvin Sordell (hat-trick), Danny Lafferty, Ross Wilcox and Matt Gilks in goal.

Anyone any idea who else we had turning out for us?

Don't know our team , Mick, but I was quite glad I wasn't able to go for a change.

I do know that for some reason, Burnley are only playing friendlies this season, above under-18 level, and there was no age restriction. I presume that applied for either team, but how many over 21 players do we have in need of the game time?

I'd guess it was a youngish side, and it's one for them to forget!
