    Weak links

I was gAd to get a draw today..thought Norwich bossed the second half.

My thoughts are that January needs us to strengthen and shed the weaker links on the starting eleven.

Those for me are shotton, Forsyth, and mascarell.

Shoton ,just too many errors, mascarell gets caught in possession in dangerous positions too often and puts players under pressure unnecessarily.
Forsyth, just hasn't been at the races all season.

May sound harsh...but if the ambition is top 2- these changes need to happen in my opinion.

Where would you see the weak links that need strengthening in January'?

I totally agree with those players you have mentioned, I also think we need another quality striker. I love Martin like most supporters but I think another striker to either compete against for a starting spot or play along side is needed.

I think you can add Ibe to that list. To much of luxury.

Totally agree, got some stick the other week for saying the same but his passing and crossing is almost as bad as forsyth's. Yes he can beat a man or two but he always takes it to far and loses it or passes it straight back to them. Not suitable replacement for Wisdom

The DM role is the key one. Sort that out and I think everything else will fall into place. Right now I would much rather see Eustace starting instead of Mascerell.

Also when was the last time Hendrick had a good game? Been off form for a long time now.

Agree with the players mentioned - whilst the left side is weak defensively we're always going to concede a few. Could easily have conceded 4 or 5 today.
Tough to blame Mascarell though he can be naive - he has a massive responsibility and often finds himself trying to close down 2 players. The wide men have to drop inside sometimes as there are often huge spaces just in front of Mascarell through the middle. Ibe doesn't get this at all and he has no idea how to do a quick cross inside like Martin did for the first goal. Dawkins should have played today.
It's too easy to score against us and watching overseas strikers isn't the priority,

Forsyth is the weakest link atm, not sure what has happened to him, maybe in jan we need to have a look.

I'm puzzled as to how players who until a few games ago were in a side that kept 6 clean sheets are all of a sudden weak links! Surely the fact is that theres a lack of confidence through poor form and that effects everyone in the team, and the more average players show up, but the teams not much different to the one that was flying, so the weak link argument is a bit thin.

If I'm not mistake Swale, Eustace was sitting in there protecting the back four.
