Festive Fun - Alex Players and Christmas Presents/Events

Just a bit of fun -no malice intended or inferred

Think of you favourite Alex players and the Christmas presents or events they remind you off

Here's my four to start you off

LDV - the gift or toy that you have wanted for ages - the toy that everyone else has got (a scoring striker) but when you finally get the gift and open the box - its broken (injured) !!

Alan Tate - the comfy pair of slippers that you need to keep you warm safe and secure (from relegation) - although your Uncle Norman has kept the receipt and may have to return the gift if finances are tight in the new year

George Ray - the box of chocolates that you don't like but you always get a box every year and for your birthday and your wedding anniversary etc despite pleading with all your relatives and friends to please to give you a different selection (box)

Matt Tootle - the long lost relative you haven't heard from for ages but who you are really hoping will visit for Christmas as he's one of your favourites and

Just quick thoughts on this to get it going

Ben Garratt ….not sure if you wanted this gift as you thought it was too unused but now you have it you can’t do without it.

James Bailee... similar to Ben, you thought it might not be up playing with it just yet as it is new but is better than you thought the more you played with it.

George Ray …Thought it was a great prezzie but not that good to play with. You put it back in the box but recently took it out again and play with it more.

Harry Davis… a present from a couple of years ago which you enjoyed at the time and still play with

Alan Tate….. the present someone else lent to you for a short while but wish they would lend it to you again

Tony Grant… the present you always wanted when you saw someone else playing with it and now you have him you hope you can keep.

Ness… A toy you thought might be good but disappointed you so you put him back in the box knowing in time you could take him out and wondered why you didn’t play with h
