Maybe this is daft speculation, given that he looks light years away from their first team, but what if they're beginning to be encouraged by his form?
I was struck by the harsh criticism of Geoff Cameron during last night's game. It was said that he was not a midfielder, and he seemed to make a lot of mistakes.
If he was desperately trying to fill in in that position, and Stoke have players ready to come back, then there'd be less of a problem for us. And this may well be the case.
But anyway, how many on this site would truly miss him?
