Thread: Keogh

    Keogh

What's happened to Keoghs distribution? I used to think it was a quality of his but he's strugglinf to perform 10 yards balls...

I was recently told (which I didn't know previously, for those who know I have a reliable source) that we accepted a bid for Keogh near deadline day, he agreed the contract but we convinced him to stay with a pay rise. Could this be affecting him this season?

I wouldn't feel confident with him as our CB in the Prem. Liability

There was a bid for him ,though not sure we accepted it, but anyway, why are you worrying about him in the prem? He is a damn good centre half at this level and we ain't promoted yet!!

Very strange timing on this post.

I thought his distribution and all-round play was very good vs. Birmingham. He also covered for Shotton well when he had a little wobble.

Have we got the best centre backs in the division? On paper probably not, bu tthe sum of the parts of this team is greater than the individuals on its day and thats what has got us to 3rd place.

Any truth in the 'rumour' I heard about Keogh and Martin having a falling out and Martin being sold in January as a result?

I've only heard this from one person so is hopefully bull crap.

With talk of big money for troy deeney or McCormack I started to get worried.

That has got to be bull****. We wouldn't sell Martin, Steve's commented he's integral to any chance we have of going up. They seemed happy enough on the field yesterday after Martin's goal, so I'm calling bull**** on this.

    Smac's not daft.
If one had to go, it wouldn't be Martin.

Haven't heard that one. As previously said, if one were to go it wouldn't be Keogh...

They do say football is an opinions game, I thought It was pretty poor. I feel he tries to over complicate long balls sometimes

Yes burnley. It can be taken with a pinch of salt but I trust my source and will continue to post anything on hear on this forum if you all like :-). My track record is pretty good for any new posters who think I'm spouted a load of poodle
