    Re: My opinion months ago

I voiced my concerned that in my opinion both our full backs were not capable of defending (including loanees). I also expressed concern as to the quality of our management team and that a experienced number 2 would help Stuart in his role . I have to say that this is a Major priority to sustain any improvement this season and if this is not addressed futher embassessment is likely both in this league and a difficult cup match looming .

    I concur.

Both Fox and Lichaj were a ****ing disgrace today.
I said at the time to the lad, if him and his mates had defended like them when at U16, I'd have thumped the lot of them.

As for the number 2. If I was Pearce I would find the nastiest ******* he can find to rip them a new asshole. Otherwise, the next new face will be taking his job.

I was there today tricky. You're right, the defending for that second goal was a disgrace at any level.

I think the lack of creativity would be equally worrying for me, too much tapping it around then playing it wide to Patterson or Antonio to fire a diagonal ball towards the box in the hope of Fryatt or Assombolonga fashioning something went on.

The only real threat came from getting in behind them and that just didn't happen enough.

For all the praise general pointed towards Patterson, Antonio, Fryatt and Assombolonga their lack of movement into the channels as an alternative gave you very little options and played into the strengths of the Birmingham defence.

The two wide players need more support from the fullbacks so they can attack the channels and give more options from the two mainly used today. Those being the diagonal ball into the box or the attempt to pass through the middle of the defence.

The two fullbacks may not be good enough, but are sadly lacking someone kickin

I agree Joe Baker. We need decent coaching staff to help Pearce. Wigley and Eastwick don't do it for me. If only Nigel Clough would come to us as general manager...

By the way for those who want Pearce sacked, just who would do any better? Its not him on the pitch giving the ball away, not cutting out crosses, not paying attention to a quickly taken set piece! Do people think Pearce spends all week telling the players to be rubbish? I think not.

Serious question, is it SPs tactics or just a lack of quality?
I know there is pressure for SP to go but seriously what would that achieve?
From what i saw today it was basic errors on the pitch that the manager can do very little about.
I dont watch enough of you lot but everytime I see Antonio play he looks a threat.. Give him the ball.
To be honest you did not play that badly today (apart from the three defensive **** ups) but came out losers. That's football I suppose, happens to all teams. Okay if its odd occasions but is there a trend of poor subs, formations, tactics etc. if not then why change the manager?
Who else is out there? Warnock.. Good luck.

yeah Nigel Clough, he who continues to polish a turd with rank average players at Sheff United, he who once again has got an unfashionable side to a cup semi final! Yes that's him.
