Thread: Hughie Mac's Statue

  1. #1

    Hughie Mac's Statue

Let's select a starting 11 consisting of our best available 10 plus Hughie Mac's statue. At the beginning of each half put it in the centre of the penalty area that we are attacking. There's a possibility that the ball may be deflected into goal off it.

Or instead of the statue we could select Paynter... no, that's just ****ing ridiculous.

Instead of the statue, why don't we just play Hughie Mac? I said a quick hello to him outside the main stand yesterday and he had more life in him than Sweeney.

We could have had Sweeney + Todd. That would have improved the pies.

Quark, great post ..recently I happened to be at the ground whilst a few of the current first 11 were milling outside the office area... I asked 4 of them who the statue depicted at the enterance to Brunton Park the first question back was what does "Depicted "mean @uck me are footballers thick. Anyway not one of the Players in question could answer the question with the correct footballers. @ucking Discraceful show of no respect for Hughie or the shirt they are pulling on.
